Overview

GGTools ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains what little data we handle and why. The short version: we collect almost nothing, store nothing on servers, and every tool runs in your browser.

What We Collect

Tool usage: All GGTools calculators, checkers, and tools run entirely in your browser. Your inputs, calculations, and results never leave your device. We have no server-side processing for any tool.

Analytics: We use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (Plausible Analytics) that tracks page views only. No personal identifiers, no cookies, no cross-site tracking. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.

Contact forms: If you email us directly, we receive your email address and message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Account credentials, passwords, or game login information
  • IP addresses (analytics tool anonymizes these)
  • Device fingerprints or browser identifiers
  • Location data
  • Cookies (analytics uses cookieless tracking)
  • Game UIDs or in-game identifiers

Squad Finder

The Squad Finder tool allows users to submit posts looking for teammates. Here is exactly what data is involved:

  • Submitted data: Region, rank, mic status (yes/no), and a contact method (e.g., Discord username or in-game name). No email, phone number, or personal identifiers are required or stored.
  • Data retention: Squad Finder posts automatically expire and are deleted after 72 hours. This is the maximum retention period.
  • Public visibility: Posts are visible on the public listing board. The contact method you choose to share is visible to other users.
  • Manual removal: After posting, you receive a private edit link. You can use this link to remove your post at any time before it auto-expires.
  • Server storage: Squad Finder posts are stored temporarily in a server-side database solely to display them on the listing board. No analytics or tracking is associated with posts.

Third-Party Services

Google Fonts: Font files are loaded from Google Fonts servers. Google may collect basic request data (IP address, browser type) as part of serving the fonts. This is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Cloudflare: Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic request logs for security and performance purposes. This is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Data Security

Since we collect almost no data, there is almost nothing to secure. The site uses HTTPS encryption. No database of user accounts exists. No personal data is transmitted to our servers during tool usage.

Children's Privacy

GGTools does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data, COPPA compliance is achieved by design.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of GGTools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
